Andrew Boswell Consulting is a new, independent management consultancy, based in the Thames Valley in the UK. It was founded in 2006 by Andrew Boswell, a well-regarded senior management consultant to the IT and Telecomms industries, and to Governments in the UK and Europe.

We live in an era of unprecedented change. The pace of technology development is dazzling, and every day new innovations clamour for our attention. This presents great opportunities for businesses to grab a competitive edge. However, it also puts everyone in business under enormous pressure to keep pace. He who hesitates is lost.

The new technology is complex. Harnessing it is a complicated business. This is causing business organisations and processes to evolve into ever more complicated structures as they try to keep up.

Of course companies must adapt their ways of working to meet the new challenges. But companies are made up of people first, and technology second. Technology must be kept in its place.

People are evolving too, but much more slowly. Homo Sapiens has been on this planet for 100,000 years. We think we're pretty smart, but the Romans who invaded Britain 2000 years ago were just as smart as us.
