Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Doobeedoo app and this
website (andrewboswell.com). Doobeedoo is developed by Andrew
Boswell, trading as an individual, not a limited company. By using
the app or this website, you agree to these terms.
If you downloaded Doobeedoo from the App Store, you also agreed to
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement when you
did so. These Terms of Use sit alongside that agreement and don't
replace it.
WHAT DOOBEEDOO IS
Doobeedoo is a personal to-do list app. It stores your tasks on your
device and syncs them between your own devices using your own iCloud
account, via Apple's CloudKit service. Andrew Boswell does not
operate any server that stores or has access to your task data.
NO WARRANTY
Doobeedoo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of
any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, any
warranty that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that
reminders, notifications, or syncing will always work correctly or on
time.
Doobeedoo is a personal organizational tool. It is not a substitute
for a dedicated safety-critical or time-critical alert system. Please
don't rely on it as your only safeguard for anything where a missed
reminder could cause serious harm — medication schedules, legal or
financial deadlines, medical appointments, and similar. Use an
appropriate dedicated system for those, alongside Doobeedoo if you
like.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Andrew Boswell's total
liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Doobeedoo —
whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the
amount you paid to purchase the app. Andrew Boswell is not liable for
any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages,
including lost profits, lost data, or missed obligations, arising
from your use of or inability to use the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot
lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or
personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these
terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including those
under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter into Doobeedoo,
and for keeping your own device and iCloud account secure. Doobeedoo
syncs through Apple's iCloud service, which is outside Andrew
Boswell's control — its availability isn't guaranteed.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Doobeedoo name, logo, and mascot are owned by Andrew Boswell.
These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the app
itself as intended.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the
app or website after a change means you accept the revised terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
